At last--the final signed version of Chief Joseph. It was a real adventure painting this one. I won't say it was easy, but it was very enjoyable. I think it's one of my best (but then again, I think that at about many of my paintings right after I finish). It's always tough trying to get the digital photo to look like what I see on the easel, in terms of tone and overall contrast. I never really get there, so you'll have to see this one in person, I suppose. I've just entered it in an upcoming art show/competition in Richardson, TX (along with a couple others). We'll see how ol' Joseph does. Thanks for looking.
