I was pleased that two of my paintings (of the three I entered) were juried into the Richardson Civic Art Society 49th Annual Regional Art Exhibition and Sale recently. They were the Chief Joseph portrait and my Colorado landscape "Mid-winter Thaw". I dropped off my two paintings on April 28th, but have no idea how they fared regarding ribbons or sales. I'll be at the reception tomorrow night, so I guess I'll know soon enough. The artwork is available to view at the Charles M. Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas from May 1 – 26th. Everyone is invited to the Reception & Awards Ceremony on Sunday, May 10, 2014 from 7- 9 p.m. It's a great venue, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the great artwork displayed. Of course mom is invited!
