This wonderful sunflower sprang up in our back yard. It was probably "planted" by birds that frequent our bird feeder. I was taken in by the sunlight shining through the leaves and some of the petals. It was my first painting that I've done in two years or more, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It even won a blue ribbon in the floral category of our recent art show. Hope you like it.
