A pair of deer peacefully graze atop a hill as the sun rises. This painting grew out an unexpected photo I snapped one foggy morning as I drove around mesmerized by the beautiful light that slowly emerged. Suddenly, a buck appeared out of the mist. I took several photos as the deer ran away from me. None of them came out very good, but the setting and the colors were pretty compelling. I decided to put some more tranquil creatures into the scene through the magic of Photoshop. This painting will be available for a great price at the upcoming Madill Art Show, Oct. 21-23, at the Marshall County Expo Center east of Madill, OK.
